1Hotels, or their linnen services, have very large presses instead of irons and can iron a sheet flat in two shots. The easiest method I can recomend is to hang your linnens instead of tumble drying. Takes more time, but much easier to get the few remaining wrinkles out.

ps: sateen is a rather weak weave, won’t last as long as plain weave.

3I used to laboriously spend hours ironing my bedding because I prefer it to look crisp and clean. I have given up on the ironing lark after 37 + years and now let someone else do it for a charge of 40 items for £22 — great value and saves me hours of leisure time. So send it out for someone else to do and spend your time doing something you enjoy.
